The Americana Music Association is proud to announce a special broadcast in Australia of performance highlights from this year’s Americana Honors & Awards. The program will premier on Australia’s Country Music Channel (CMC) at 8pm on Wednesday 25, November with encore broadcasts each day until 30 November.

Americana Music Association Unveils 14th Annual Honors and Awards Performers and Presenters // 9.8.2015
The Americana Music Association reveals the initial presenter and performer lineup for its 14th annual Honors & Awards Show. As anticipated, the list reflects Americana's "spirit of eclecticism" (New York Times) through its diverse lineup.
The one-day celebration of roots-inspired music will feature the legendary Loretta Lynn, Americana stalwart Steve Earle, revered acoustic duo Gillian Welch and special guests Tift Merritt, Eric Heywood, Nikki Lane, Valerie June, Emmy Rose Russell and more. For the first time, the Ascend Amphitheater, Nashville’s newest venue on the Riverfront, will feature two stages in a festival like setting.
The Americana Music Association unveiled an additional 30+ artists to its 16th annual AmericanaFest lineup this week. Known for its “spirit of eclecticism” (New York Times) and community, the festival will offer more than 170 official showcases across more than a dozen Music City venues including newly announced performances by Glen Hansard, Jewel, Hot Rize featuring Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers, Jay Farrar (performing songs of Son Volt’s “Trace”), Buddy Miller & Marc Ribot, JD McPherson, Parker Millsap, Joel Rafael, Nellie Clay, Madisen Ward & The Mama Bear and the Watkins Family Hour.
The Americana Music Association announces the selection of Buffy Sainte-Marie, Don Henley, Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, Ricky Skaggs and Los Lobos as Lifetime Achievement Award winners to be presented at its 14th Annual Honors & Awards ceremony, presented by Nissan, on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
