We've put together a continually updating resource page featuring both national and international links to designated relief funds, mental health hotlines and regional government advice on the pandemic.

As you may know, in an effort to relieve the economic effects of COVID-19 on the music industry, Congress passed The CARES Act on March 27, which provides significant financial assistance to struggling small businesses, self-employed workers and independent contractors.

This act includes federal assistance in the form of stimulus payments, expanded unemployment benefits as well as grants and loans through the Small Business Administration (SBA). Find out more about how this new act affects our industry and how to apply below.

What We're Doing to Help:

We understand that this crisis has negatively impacted the livelihoods of musicians who depend on touring opportunities and music sales for their income. To help artists in our community, all artist memberships that have expired or are set to expire between March 6 and May 30 will have their membership extended through May 31. We are doing this on a weekly basis and members will be notified via email when their memberships have been extended.

News on this pandemic is constantly evolving by the day. In an effort to keep you posted on the latest COVID-19 music industry developments, we've created a section dedicated to these updates in our This Week in Americana newsletter. We also want to make sure you can have your dose of live music while practicing social distancing so we've added a virtual live concert section as well. Sign up for our newsletter

We're continuously looking for additional ways to help our community during this time.

Updates On Our Events:

Planning is still underway for AMERICANAFEST 2020, which takes place on Sept. 15-20 in over 60 venues in Nashville, TN. The unveiling of this year's Americana Honors & Awards nominees are scheduled to be announced in mid-May, and the ceremony is scheduled for September 16 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium. We will keep you updated accordingly.

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy.
