The Americana Music Association and Lincoln Center have unveiled the 2016 lineup for their third annual “AmericanaFest NYC” taking place August 6 and 7 as part of Lincoln Center’s Out Of Doors series.
The artist lineup for the festival, which focuses on “Roots of American Music,” is now set and includes performances by both rising and established artists. The all-star lineup features 2014 Americana Artist of the Year Dwight Yoakam, Teddy Thompson & Kelly Jones, Mary Gauthier, Those Pretty Wrongs featuring Jody Stephens, Parker Millsap, and The Cactus Blossoms. The festival includes a very special celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Last Waltzfeaturing The Midnight Ramble Band under the musical direction of Larry Campbell with special guests Bob Weir, Dr. John, Buddy Miller, Lucinda Williams, Howard Johnson, Patty Griffin, and Anderson East.
