Remembering Phil Everly

(Nashville, Tenn.) January 17, 2014 - The Americana Music Association is pleased to announce it will remember Phil Everly with a tribute to the Everly Brothers during a celebration of American Roots Music.  The event will take place at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, Saturday, January 25.
 
Phil Everly, half of the legendary duo, was a generous supporter of the not-for-profit music association.  In 2009, during our nations turbulent recession, Everly scribed the lyrics of “When Will I Be Loved” (photo below) on parchment paper and donated the work for auction, raising thousands of dollars for the Americana Music Association.
 
Americana's Pre-Grammy Salute & Tribute to the Everly Brothers: Remembering Phil Everly, will bring legends and the next generation of creative artists to the stage for an event that promises to inspirational night of music.  A limited number of tickets are ON SALE NOW.  To purchase tickets please visit http://www.troubadour.com.
